Upper Charles continues to pursue the preservation of open space throughout our watershed. Our organization is funded by the generosity of concerned citizens in our communities, and we would like to thank those of you who have supported us in the past and invite you to contribute this year. Stewardship
We are recruiting volunteers for “light duty” stewardship roles for our public properties. Stewardship volunteers help Upper Charles maintain trails, remove debris from our properties, and complete related projects (bridge construction, tree removal, trail improvement, bench maintenance, clearing culverts and streams). Public Events
We are periodically in need of volunteers for events on our properties, such as trail runs or educational walks. We welcome your assistance in organizing events and input in creating new events that could further our mission. Please email info@uppercharles.org for information.
