Wenakeening Woods Prepares for Timber Harvesting

Some trees are covered with gypsy moth infestations ready to hatch millions of moths next summer. This year’s draught has also stressed or killed many trees in Wenakeening Woods. Selective cutting under Benjamin’s plan will also encourage new growth.
